Using the Smoke Cycle and Meat Probe
Many digital electric smokers come with a dedicated “SMOKE” button that runs the heating element for a 20-minute cycle. This feature is useful when you open the door to check the food and lose the built-up smoke, or when you start with fresh wood chips that haven’t yet begun to smolder. The cycle restores the smoky environment quickly.
